Week 4: Lighting & Colour in Photography

Program Description:

Weekly Goal and Lesson: For our last week, youth will be learning about the role of lighting and color in photography and understanding how to use different lighting techniques and colour palettes to create mood and atmosphere in our images. 

Art Objective: Wrapping up the course, youth will be taking photos with a focus on lighting and colour and experimenting with different techniques to create unique and expressive images. We’ll be encouraging youth to think more critically about the role of lighting and colour in the images they capture, and to use photography as a tool for self-expression and storytelling.
