Youth Arts Action Central Week 8: Watercolour & Poetry

Free Calgary after-school program for youth ages 12-18.

Program Description:

We will return back to the discussion from the first week on fluidity of watercolour and connect this discussion to the final project that will be on display at the Art Exhibit. This piece will be a reflection of hope for mental health support in our society.

Youth will have the opportunity to use watercolour layered with their own words to depict this theme. The poem will be displayed on top of the watercolour painting through cutting words out of a book/magazine and glueing them to the piece.
